About Inventions & Discoveries
Inventions & Discoveries site offers information about discoveries and inventions, along with amazing inventors and scientists who pioneered the frontiers of science and technology. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, I am most familiar with many of these scientists, many of them my inspirations, in particular, Marie Curie, Isaac Newton and Michael Faraday; and later, Lavoisier and his wife. Learning never stops in the classrooms especially when we are interested with the subject matter itself.
- Who ever thought of the paper clip?
- Who invented the sewing machine or the typewriter?
- Who improved the design of the aircraft, enough to fly for 50 miles in the early 1900?
- Who invented the World Wide Web?
- What’s next to iPods and iPads?
- How about the first film or the camera?
- Could future inventions allow us to live in space?
The impact of high-technology in today’s world is enormous as more development and advances take place especially in the area of communication relating to the Internet and the World Wide Web that affect all other areas of disciplines – in medicine, business, sports, arts, literature, and all of humanities.
I share my knowledge and historical facts and statistics I’ve researched through the years – to inform, educate and entertain. Celebrate with me, through this website, as we focus on, salute and thank great pioneers & discoverers, as well as newer scientists – on their achievements, innovative thinking and values.
Your comments, suggestions, ideas are always welcome. Thank you.
Enjoy!
